In 2013, I became interested in whisk(e)y. Perhaps the fact that I turned 30. years young that year contributed.
Over the months and years I was allowed to learn more and more about the subject of whiskey, that interest increased further. There came a time when I "found" my few whiskey bottles in a kitchen drawer next to vinegar and oil. That was the time when I realized that this could not continue.
I organized over the alley two used wine barrels. From these I made myself two whiskey bar's. Since then, the whiskies - with packaging, if I like it - have found their place in one of the two barrels.
The self-built WoodCaskBar's were so well received by friends and relatives that within a short time there were already other wishes in this direction. Therefore, I decided to give other people also the opportunity to be able to get such a unique piece. Without having to deal with the details and work themselves.
